Bob Snead is among the dozens of artists represented in Pride of Place: The Making of Contemporary Art in New Orleans, an exhibition of more than 70 works of art donated to NOMA by renowned New Orleans’ gallerist Arthur Roger. Snead’s Family Dollar General Tree represents the type of “small box” stores that have proliferated across America.
