Collect-O-Mania Film Fest: Adele’s Wish

As part of the Collect-O-Mania Film Fest examining the role of art collectors, NOMA will screen the 2009 documentary Adele's Wish. The film recounts the courtroom battle of 92-year-old Jewish World War II refuge Maria Altmann, a resident of Los Angeles who sued the Republic of Austria to recover five Gustav Klimt paintings stolen from her family in Vienna by the Nazis in 1938.
