Studio KIDS!: Ironwork Doorways
On Saturday, November 20, take inspiration from the work of New Orleans–based artist Dawn DeDeaux and the unique ironwork found all around us in our city’s architecture to create your own doorway-inspired drawing using light and shadow.
Virtual Way of Tea Demonstration
NOMA is excited to present a virtual Way of Tea demonstration led by Naomi Yoder (they/them), Japanese Way of Tea Practitioner, Urasenke Lineage. This program will occur on Friday, October 15, at 6:30 pm. Advance registration is required, and registration is free for all!
Drink and Draw
Join us for Drink and Draw, an art-making series at NOMA. Seeing is an active process of focusing, negotiating, and making meaning at once. Attune your eyes, mind, and body through an exploratory approach to observational drawing—with drinks in hand! Warm up with sketching and looking in the galleries, participate in a drawing session facilitated by a teaching artist, and enjoy sounds by local DJs.
