Regular admission prices apply—NOMA members are FREE—but there is no extra charge for programs or films. All galleries, the Museum Shop, and Café NOMA remain open till 9 pm. |

From January 19 through March 16, NOMA presents a series of eight mindfulness classes with Dr. Jayashree Rao. Mindfulness is defined as experiencing the present moment with open curiosity, without judgment, and with a willingness to be with what is. Advance registration required.

This winter/spring, Studio KIDS! classes explore art made by diverse cultures throughout time as inspiration for art projects. From sculpting to painting, each class features different media and techniques. Attend one class or the entire series. Advance registration required.

Spark imagination, creativity, and a love of reading. Professional authors, actors and artists bring the world of children’s literature to NOMA in this family program. Family activities are offered after each StoryQuest to encourage museum exploration. Free with museum admission. |

Join NOMA’s docents for a free guided tour of the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden on Saturdays and Mondays, weather dependent, at noon. (Call 504.658.4153 to verify.) Sited on five acres adjacent to the museum, the garden contains more than sixty works by renowned sculptors. |
