Spark imagination, creativity, and a love of reading. Professional authors, actors and artists bring the world of children’s literature to NOMA in this family program. Family activities are offered after each StoryQuest to encourage museum exploration. Free with museum admission.

Sculpture Garden Tour
Join NOMA’s docents for a free guided tour of the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden on Saturdays and Mondays, weather dependent, at noon. (Call 504.658.4153 to verify.) Sited on five acres adjacent to the museum, the garden contains more than sixty works by renowned sculptors.

A Night of India
The Indian Arts Circle and NOMA host an evening of cultural immersion in the Asian subcontinent. Sample food from local Indian restaurants, watch Bollywood dancers or an acclaimed biopic of an Indian scholar, listen to the Indo-New Orleans fusion music of Andrew McLean, and join tours of NOMA’s Indian Art Gallery.

NOMA and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden will be closed on Saturday, March 2, as City Park and the surrounding Mid-City neighborhood plays host to the Endymion parade for Carnival season. Join us on March 3 for regular Sunday hours from 11 am to 5 pm.
