This winter/spring, Studio KIDS! classes explore art made by diverse cultures throughout time as inspiration for art projects. From sculpting to painting, each class features different media and techniques. Attend one class or the entire series. Advance registration reqjuired.

In celebration of National Poetry Month, the New Orleans Museum of Art is offering a free poetry workshop on Saturday, April 6, for students in grades 8–12, led by Louisiana Poet Laureate Jack B. Bedell. Advance registration is required.

Louisiana-born saxophonist, artist, photographer, and composer Dickie Landry will perform one of his legendary site-specific SOLO concerts in tribute to the work of Keith Sonnier and Tina Girouard. In his 60-minute performance in NOMA’s Great Hall, Landry will play the tenor saxophone to explore the textures and abstract layers of sound within NOMA’s iconic architecture. |
