Join fellow book lovers as we read and discuss fiction and nonfiction books related to art, artists, art museums, NOMA’s collections and exhibitions. The selection for May 2019 is Leonardo Da Vinci by Walter Isaacson.
NOMA docents guide visitors on hour-long tours of either the permanent collection or special exhibitions. Tours are free with NOMA admission. Meet in the Great Hall to join in. |

Louisiana-born saxophonist, artist, photographer, and composer Dickie Landry will perform one of his legendary site-specific SOLO concerts in tribute to the work of Keith Sonnier and Tina Girouard. In his 60-minute performance in NOMA’s Great Hall, Landry will play the tenor saxophone to explore the textures and abstract layers of sound within NOMA’s iconic architecture. |

The New Orleans Museum of Art will be closed on May 14. The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden will be open from 10 am to 2 pm, closing early for a private event. The public is invited to tour the newly expanded sculpture garden on Wednesday, May 15. |
