Teen Squad

The NOMA Teen Squad is a diverse group of creative teens that serve as leaders and ambassadors of the museum. Teen Squad members meet on a weekly basis throughout the school year to engage in arts immersion programming of all kinds: interviews with contemporary artists, meetings and tours with museum staff, art-making workshops, field trips to city arts organizations, planning and implementation of teen events at the museum, and more!

What is the NOMA Teen Squad?

A council of New Orleans teens from schools across the city that serve as youth leaders and representatives of the museum. The Teen Squad meets weekly on Thursday evenings, October through May.

Who should apply?

We deeply value, celebrate and support all ranges of experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives. Teens who are interested in developing skills relating to community engagement, visual art, creative careers, and museum practices are encouraged to apply.
