In celebration of The Orléans Collection NOMA welcomes acclaimed musicians Vance Woolf (trumpet), Cara McCool Woolf, and Dustin Gledhill (piano), to the Great Hall for an evening of music inspired by the visual and musical arts of the 17th and 18th centuries.

About the Performers

Vance Woolf

Originally from Motueka, New Zealand, Vance Woolf joined the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra as Principal Trumpeter in 2000, and has performed as featured soloist and toured nationally and internationally with orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. While also maintaining an active performing career as a chamber musician, he teaches classical trumpet at Loyola University, New Orleans.

Cara McCool Woolf

A native of Louisville, Mississippi, pianist Cara McCool Woolf is the Executive Director of the Musical Arts Society of New Orleans (MASNO) – a position that she has held since 2014 that includes the direction of the New Orleans International Piano Competition and Keyboard Festival. Cara also maintains an award winning piano studio, and is in high demand as a collaborative pianist most often appearing with her husband Vance Woolf, Principal Trumpet of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.

Dustin Gledhill

Pianist Dustin Gledhill is an award-winning interpreter of French music and a laureate of over 20 international and national competitions including the New Orleans International Piano Competition. A published songwriter, arranger and composer for theater and modern dance, Dustin is also founder and Director of the Gledhill Arts Collective in New York City. [insert headshot]
