NVC Studio Salons are private studio receptions where an artist or designer welcomes a limited number of NVC members for an exclusive tour, discussion, and/or hands-on workshop.

Last month Studio Salons Chair Millie Kohn planned a wonderful trip to Rebecca Vizard’s atelier — B.Viz Design — on Magazine Street.  Becky spoke about how her travels and interior design work and how her initial hunt for an antique textile pillow that was tailored and not over done grew into a renowned antique textile business now headquartered in her hometown of St. Joseph, Louisiana, on the banks of Lake Bruin.

Members toured the shop and viewed pillows made from antique embroidery, tapestry, needlepoint, Fortuny fabric, and much more.  Following the studio tour and talk, everyone enjoyed cheese, fruit, champagne, and B. Viz cookies created by Beth Biundo.
