Motion to Move 2023
New Orleans Museum of Art 1 Collins Diboll Circle, New Orleans, LAIn partnership with Edward Spots and Magnolia Dance & Company, NOMA is excited to present Motion to Move 2023, a walking installation of pop-up dance art celebrating Juneteenth. Performers and audience members will explore the theme of “movement” as they travel together through the museum and Besthoff Sculpture Garden.

How can art “reflect” something about you, or help you see yourself more clearly? How do artworks act like windows to peek into others’ lives, or to better understand another time or place?
